Man Stabbed in Boise Bar

Boise, June 16, 2006 – At approximately 1:34 a.m., early Sunday

morning, a man was stabbed in a crowded downtown bar.

The incident occurred at The Loft, located at 622 W. Idaho. Investigators believe the

victim, a 22 year-old Mountain Home resident, intervened in a dispute between two females.

Moments later, a male suspect approached and stabbed the victim. He was taken to a local

hospital for treatment.

The male suspect who reportedly stabbed the victim was described by witnesses as an

African-American with a light complexion. He is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs about 165

pounds. He has dark hair, and was wearing a multi-colored striped button-down shirt.
