Serious Crash Main Street
Boise, July 4, 2006 – The Boise Police Department is investigating a one-vehicle crash that occurred early this morning that left one woman seriously injured.
Officers were called to the scene of the crash at 5:59 a.m.. The involved vehicle was traveling Westbound on Main Street near 30th at a high rate of speed, when it struck a pole on the side of the road.
Main Street was shut down for several hours during the investigation. The driver was a 31 year old woman from Boise. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The cause of the collision is still under investigation. No charges or citations have been filed/issued at this time.
The accident investigation, including accident reconstruction and evidence testing, is not expected to be completed today.
