Fish Stocked for BPD's Free Fishing Day Event

Boise, 8:00 a.m., June 7, 2006 - Tonight, the Boise Police Association is stocking hundreds of fish into McDevitt Pond in anticipation of Saturday's Free Fishing day!

Tonight at about 6:00 p.m., approx. 450 fish will be dumped into the pond to help Saturday's anglers have better luck.  These fish are much larger than fish normally planted in the pond.  THe fish are purchased by the Boise Police Association with money raised at the BPA annual fishing tournament last month.  Some fish are also being donated by ARK Fisheries of Hagerman.
