The Boise Police department is
committed to enforcing drug laws and providing the community with
drug education programs. This portion of our web site is meant as a
guide for parents, educators and the general public to the drug
enforcement units and drug education resources offered through
Boise PD.

officers with the Boise Police BANDIT Narcotics
Unit.

parents and educators.

Boise Police Neighborhood Contact Officers also investigate
complaints of drugs being used, bought or sold in neighborhood
homes.
Drug Free Idaho is sponsored by the Boise Police Department
and offers many valuable resources for drug prevention and
education in the workplace, as well as area schools.
The Boise Police Night STEP unit is made up of
officers with extensive training and experience in detecting,
arresting, and prosecuting drunk drivers. Many officers in this
unit are also certified Drug Recognition Experts.
Boise Police officers are experts in alcohol and drug laws,
enforcement and education. Officers are willing to speak to your
community group, youth or adult, to help educate and prevent drug
